Children in the Wilderness

Aline works with the Children in the Wilderness (CITW) and Community coordinator for Wilderness Safaris in Rwanda. She has enforced active Environmental Clubs and 1 Youth Environmental Stewardship programme which reach 264 school children weekly with extracurricular environmental education. 80 students from the Bisate Secondary School under mentorship of Aline have received scholarships for the duration of the 6 years education. Over 5000 villagers benefit from a water harvesting project that was conducted with local partners to create water collecting points in the local communities, a project funded by guest donations.
