Bob has worked with an ex-situ rehabilitation and release program for African lion. During that time supported communities in the Hwange district to mitigate human-wildlife conflict through installation of flashing light units that deterred predators from kraals at night. Also conducted conservation education lessons in local community schools on a weekly basis. Installed lion-proof bomas also in Hwange to protect livestock from night attacks by predators. Has carried out research work in the Zambezi National Park monitoring populations of large carnivores and large mammalian species. Served as a member of the trans-boundary KAZA Carnivore Conservation Coalition and chaired the 2014 Committed on Environment during the African Youth General Conference in Lusaka, Zambia.
