Derrick has been involved in Youth Mobilization to participate in the Global Biodiversity Framework, as the National Coordinator Uganda Youth Biodiversity Network, he has been able to start and sustain a vibrant Youth Network that has seen gain a consultative position at both national and international level on Youth Participation in Biodiversity Conservation, Championing forest biodiversity restoration by planting trees, Derrick Planted 10000 Trees in Mpigi District in a period of two months.
